004：本日の1分英会話ネタ：月例報告会

内容：
I gave a presentation at the monthly meeting today. In this meeting, the employees not only report but also discuss the problem to find solution. Honestly, the monthly meetings are boring for me because I am not interested in most of topics. Besides, it takes full day so I can not deal with my tasks in the monthly meeting day. Unless I have urgent tasks, it is obligatory to attend basically. Actually, I can ignore this meeting but I don't want to stand out for my selfish. It is also unprofessional behavior.

今日は、月例会議で発表しました。このミーティングでは、社員が報告するだけでなく、問題点を解決するために議論をします。正直なところ、私にとって月例会議は退屈なものです。なぜなら、ほとんどのトピックに興味がないからです。その上、一日がかりなので、月例会の日に自分の仕事を処理することはできません。緊急の仕事でもない限り、基本的には出席しなければなりません。本当は、この会議を無視することもできるのですが、自分勝手な行動で目立ちたくありません。社会人として相応しい態度とも言えません。
