012：本日の1分英会話ネタ：読書

内容：
I didn't read books when I was student.  I used to read papers and articles related to my research theme in the university. But, since I started to work, I got interested in reading books. My favorite genre are self-development and investment. On the other hand, I don't read essays and novels even now.  Books are packed with author's ideas, knowledge and thoughts etc. The reader can relive  them through reading. Some people can read so fast. The fast reading is important to save time. If I could read faster,  I would have get more information more efficiency. So, reading fast is one of useful skills, I think.

私は学生時代、本は読みませんでした。 大学では、自分の研究テーマに関連した論文や記事を読んでいました。しかし、社会人になってからは、本を読むことに興味を持つようになりました。好きなジャンルは、自己啓発や投資です。逆に、エッセイや小説は今でも読みません。 本には著者の思想や知識、考えなどが詰まっています。読む人はそれを追体験することができます。中には読むのが速い人もいます。速く読むことは、時間を節約するために重要です。もし私が速く読めたら、より多くの情報をより効率的に得ることができたでしょう。ですから、速読は役に立つスキルの一つだと思います。
